Rachel Rhea is a Canadian singer-songwriter based in Amsterdam, known for her soulful, alternative, pop music. Inspired by life and personal growth, her dreamy vocals and honest lyrics resonate deeply with her audience. Following sold-out headline performances at A'DAM&Co. and her debut EP release show at the NDSM Theater in Amsterdam, Rachel is currently on tour performing her new concert series “Singer-Songwriters United” alongside Mary Ember and Leonoor. Her first showcase took place at Cinetol in Amsterdam on August 25th, and her upcoming shows will be held at Toekomstmuziek on September 21st and PAARDCAFÉ on October 29th.
Last June, Rachel Rhea released her debut EP, The Way Back Home, a deeply personal collection of songs inspired by trauma, healing and rebirth. The release was accompanied by a multidisciplinary concert featuring dance, visual art, choir and violin, reflecting her artistic vision of creating performances that extend beyond music alone.
Originally from Montreal and now based in Amsterdam, Rachel Rhea holds a Master's degree from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and has trained at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. Her distinctive blend of soulful alternative pop, honest lyricism and theatrical live performances continues to resonate with growing audiences across the Netherlands.
